Faisal Mosque, Islamabad, Pakistan

Faisal Mosque is located next to the north of Islamabad, Pakistan's capital. Named after its founder, King Faisal Bin Abdul Aziz and designated as the National Mosque of Pakistan. Unlike mosques in Asia in general, Faisal Mosque did not have a dome and a statue. The form is unusual, inspired by the tent erected one of the Arab tribes, Bedouin. The main prayer room is shaped like a large triangle and the tower is made tapering upward. Slightly influenced by the style of Turkish buildings, including one of the Faisal Mosque mosque picture with contemporary architectural design.
